  • Compaq Laptop Problem

My friends, I need your help.
Now I wanted to turn on the pc but it only stays in '' starting '', and nothing happens: /, I left the laptop like that for half an hour, but it still starts.
I need the most help possible: / I do not want to stay without a computer again.
I would appreciate it if this has a solution.
PS: I'm in safe mode with network compatibility

Freezing during the Windows logo start up screen is most likely a driver issue.

I googled a bit and this seems to be a very common problem...

Some things to try that you haven't listed above that I saw others having success with:
    • Update the BIOS
    • Disable USB keyboard and USB mouse in BIOS
    • Disable LAN in BIOS
    • Disable FDD in BIOS
    • Eject the Win7 DVD after it freezes, and reinsert
    • Wait 30+ minutes for the system to finally continue

You may have tried some of these. Post back what you find out.
    Yours sincerely

To fix that you need to clear the CMOS, here are 2 easy methods to do it. Hope it will work for you!

One easy method is too clear the cmos:

            Step 1 Remove Power cord.

            Step 2 Remove Laptop battery.

Step 3 Remove CMOS battery, on the units I carry it is located under the keyboard which lifts up easily by depressing 2 small tabs near the space bar.

Step 4 Leave all 3 items removed for 5-10 minutes or longer. This clears the cmos.

Step 5 Hook everything back up and unit should function perfectly. I suggest you always keeping at least 10% battery power in your unit if it is not plugged in if not more.

            Another method:

Hold down the Function key, turn the machine on and tap the F11 key a few times in the first few seconds of the boot process as the splash screen displays. A '162' error message comes up. Hit F1 to accept the error message, the BIOS is reset, and the machine will continue to boot.

Dont like me? have a seat with the rest the of bitches waiting for me to give a fuck...Haters gonna hate.
