what do you want to do with it, if you want to do vfx and lots of other more advanced stuff, adobe after effects. but noone does that, im assuming you just want to cut and put ugly color correction on frag videos. vegas pro 12.

I would recommend you AVS Video Converter that I'm using nowadays to edit/add videos. It gives you all the formats like mp4, AVI. etc.
