He's Just Lagging / Bugged As I Guess,Happens To Me A Lot

Im guessing he was dueling and paused. So when his duel was over he didnt teleport out. Since "no one" was dueling in that virtual world you were teleported to it where he was paused.

or he got killed and he paused the game before getting spawned.

When the player is paused there is nothing that can be done to him/her (they cannot be forced to move or respawn etc).

Just ignore them.
