[BUG]/changename

EXAMPLE: Your name is "PLAYER_" and you want to change it to "PLAYER"
The /changename command will say the following thing:
* Sorry, another player (ID: YOUR ID) is already using the name "PLAYER"... choose another name.
PS: I don't know if this bug occurs to all the special characters.

That just means that the name is registered already.

I haven't tested it but I remember that happening to me once before as well, because the name I wanted was without my tag and it didn't like it xD I think so i can't remember 100%. Maybe that's why i put 3 o's in my name (use to be 2).

And yes this bug exist, i've suspected it when a player that want to remove kind of Roleplay name with _B (from A_B).

EDIT: I've checked twice looks like it's how changing name in SA-MP works, so there is no way to prevent it. It will deny name change when your name match with other player's first part name.

If i'm Using Robo_N1X i can't change it to Robo_N1 It will say there is already another player (which is myself) using the name.
Some other cases:
Robo_N1X to Robo_N2X - Success
Robo_N1X to Robo_N1XX - Failed
Robo_N1X to _Robo_N1X - Success
Robo_N1X to [GX]Robo_N1X - Success.
Robo_N1X to Robo_ - Failed.
Robo_N1X to Roobo_N1X - Success - as mentioned by wooolly.

But it will still not work if there is another player using it or the name is already registered.

So there is no way to fix, it's up to sa-mp developers
