I will make a pob building tutorial later. For now post your stuff, ask questions, advice, help or just show off what you have made. and yes i know there are already 5 other threads similar to this. i will try to summarize all the useful resources in 1 thread.

General tips
1 . Good tip is to always save progress when building large objects (/spos). Objects would deleted unexpectedly (as you crash for example). Saving a pobs to name that you can remember is also recommended, for example i named my objects with RN_ prefix (Robo_n1x). Avoid weird and confusing pobs naming as you can forget it quickly
2. If you have crashed while making pobs dont panic. if you havent closed the game client you are probabaly still in game appearing as afk. You can pm someone on irc and ask them to /rpo you and save the objects. this has saved me considerable progress multiple times.
3. About object materials. If you have to use windows, dont just take a non-transparent wall and make it transparent by setting color opacity. The game will ignore the fact that you made it transparent and it will treat it as a regular wall, this will lead to weird anomalies that you wouldn't normally want, like LOD objects being loaded when looking through the window and cars not being visible.
4. Object rotation. If you need to make another object with the exact same orientation as another one. duplicate the object with the desired orientation, use /spoon to replace the model with the one you want. this is very useful when working with land masses.
Event tips (ctf, tdm, lms..)
1. please stop using night in every event you crate, it doesn't make it looks better unless you have specifically made it using nighttime objects. here is a good video about map design, some of this stuff you can apply straight to samp: https://youtu.be/Y5RZP52jYy4?t=898 (15:30)
2. make sure players cant escape from your map. have someone else look at the map and try and escape, they might think of something that you wouldn't. also if you have a small map or a map where players will be next to an invisible wall, MAKE IT INVISIBLE FROM BOTH SIDES. People like to use runway as as a way of blocking off areas, but when aiming away from the wall your camera can go behind the runway and it will obstruct your visions. once everything is done, set the object transparent from both sides
goo
1. usually when a goo is announced there will be a huge crowd of people trying to get to the goo at once, this leads to blocking, killing and generally lots of bad things. there is a very simple way to avoid this. make multiple starting points, and it would be best if you make them identical, so players wouldn't think its a multiple choice goo where you have to find the right path.
2. make "checkpoints"
im sure you have been so close to the goo but then fell, all that progress lost, noone likes it. add platforms below your goo to act as a "checkpoint" if a person falls, they dont lose all of that progress, just a part of it, and the player that fell doesnt have to go through the part that he was already in.
just look at the picture and you should understand what i mean, just beware of fall damage.
