Yes , if you are using Mibbit there's a bug! else try another IRC Client. I request you Kiwi IRC.

Mibbit is temporary banned from #GamerX and #GamerX-Chat due to some spammer.
Try another Client

You cannot use quakenet, freenode, etc, These are configured on different server. Use mibbit or kiwiirc and choose the server pool.irc.tl port 6667
