    Hi, Fellas
I recently fell into a problem on deciding to buy a new processor, cause my old one isnt good enough to run some games like CSGO,San Andreas on High Settings in 60FPS etc. . So the point is i am confused with compability of the processor with my fav. Motherboard which is Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 and the processor i am tryong to buy is Intel Pentium G-4400 Processor with Two Cores 3.30 GHz based on Skylake.
    Specifications of the Proccesor :
    3MB L3 Cache
    2 * 256KB L2 Cache
    14nm Skylake 65W
    Intel HD Graphics 510
    Processor Socket LGA 1151
    Voltage 1.35 Volts
    Wattage 47 Watts

    Specs of my motherboard:
You can find it down below

Awaiting for answer from Robo_N1X or anyone who knows about it.

    Whoch processor
You cant install an Intel processor onto an AMD motherboard.

So whoch processor will fit your motherboard socket?
    AMD AM3+ FX/AM3 Phenom™ II & Athlon™ II series processors

This is a very ancient question, you can search a lot answer of this on Google, bing

if you want your pc play high fps buy GPU not processor... your current cpu seems enough if you just play cs:go
