Camera glitch

When I walk I can not move the camera around. In every game it does this! I can't find a fix for it . I am using windows 8

Instead of pausing the game before you go to desktop, just trying holding "alt" then press "esc." When you return to the game you wouldn't have to press esc again. See if it works. !
