  • SAMP Error

I tried to play samp, but i got an error, it says: "The procedure entry point vorbis_synthesis_idheader could not be located in the dynamic link library vorbis.dll."
    https://youtu.be/3OPq0QfYzfY
    How to solve this?

Your computer, on boot up is trying to load software as a tsr (terminate stay resident) that you have uninstalled. A 'dll' or dynamic link library file is a system file with instructions on addressing loading applications. Uninstalling (due to crude programming) sometimes removes applications but does not remove some preloading files.

    Resolution:
    Click on Start - Run
    type in msconfig
    click okay

click on the tab that says 'startup"

browse the list for something that looks like it might be related to your 'vorbis' thing and uncheck the box next to it.

    done.

This has nothing to do with GTA, as GTA is not a program that launch on startup/boot, except the dll files are placed in system folder. If it was the case, then he need to fix his Windows installation first.

It seems that your game installation was not correct.
Reinstall your SA:MP and GTA:SA, make sure the files are cleaned after uninstallation (in your gta-sa installation folder), restart your pc and install GTA:SA again, then install SA:MP.
You need to make sure that your GTA:SA is version 1.0 and not Modded. Then sa-mp can be installed correctly.

              "Copied GTA SA"?

That does not work like that mate.
You have to install software (that includes games) from its installer to make it work! It means you have to INSTALL GTA San Andreas. Of course you can't run it if you don't install it.

Software that don't need to be installed is called portable, and GTA:SA (and all the games nowadays) are not portable.

That error just comes because GTA:SA is not installed, files are just copied but that's not enough. If you want SA-MP to work, you need the GTA:SA Installation CD and install it in your computer.

If you don't own the GTA:SA installer and wanna play SA-MP, send me a private message. Maybe I can help you with that!

I reinstalled now GTA Sa and SAMP. If i try to play singleplayer then it says "No disc Inserted. Please insert the CD/DVD". And if i try to play SAMP then game does not launch.

                          You need Visual C++ libraries.

                          Download it from here:

                          For 32 bits Windows http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/downl...s.aspx?id=5555
                          for 34 bits Windows http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=14632

And if after installing it you keep having problems, I can help you with using Teamviewer software.

Please stop asking why I got my admin status removed. I chose to be demoted and there's no drama behind it.
