  • [Server]VPN solution

so this is what happened today:

    https://i.imgur.com/XmlqCiF.jpg

This isn't the only time. This guy has started this from past 3 days.

I don't know whoever he is, but that is irrelevant. What's relevant is, that he uses VPN to connect to the server.

My suggestion is to block VPN from server-side, so events like this don't occur in the future

Count of this spamming and flooding is increasing, VPN should be restricted and banned or blocked permanently and about users Who use VPN should get new connect to connect if their range was banned and they connect from VPN. And Also Banning each player who evade with VPN to spam flood sv is impossible even if 15 admins are online Admins have other important works thats' Important MOST.

He's Galaxy, old banned child who comes doing this kinda of shit

Ontopic, as long as it doesn't affect the server (decrease in player count, server lagging - I don't know how this thing work), I'm with the suggestion

I'm pretty sure that some of the vpn's like SoftEther VPN ( with the VPN Gate plugin ) can't be banned, since the vpn's are from other home or work computers ( hosting a vpn on their pc ). Then you need to ban Comcast / xfinity etc. Which is just not gonna work.

Every VPN can be banned as far as I know. Everytime you connect to a VPN, you're being redirected through a router which has been customized, therefore the IP it is using is not provided by an official ISP.
Adding all the non-ISP provided IPs in a database and reading through it can verify the IP. Ofcourse, there are methods to by-pass this security too, but its not like it's not worth any effort.
