~ Textdraw when a player enter any vehicle

Hi everyone,

Today I found a new suggestion. When new players join GamerX for the first time, they like it, I know it because I talk regurlary to new players. But they always ask me for help, I help them for sure. But that doesn't matter.

The suggestion what I have.

When a player enter any vehicle they will see a textdraw for some seconds like:

/flip or /f - To flip your vehicle
/fix - To repair your vehicle
/af - To fix your vehicle automatically (Don't driveby if AutoFix is enabled)
/pimp /pimp2 - To pimp your vehicle. NOTE: It doesn't pimp all vehicles.
/T1 till /T9 - To pimp your vehicle in the garage.
/ssb - To set your speedboost in any value you want. (LCTRL to use it)

Something like that. I know there are enough players, trusted players & admins that can help players who have question. But I think small things like this would help. And players know it direct when they enter any vehicle.

Or the textdraws shows the player random. Like one textdraw for some seconds. And later shows the other textdraw etc etc.

These stuff already appear on the textdraws under your screen (/thtt /tfl if you have it disabled). Plus, it appears on the chat every few seconds, mostly announced by admins, or other players. There's really no problem helping other players, no one gets bothered by it in any way.

Yes I know I agree. But I know that new players never read the chat. The first time I joined a samp server I never read the chat. I know that because I got banned because I was rulebreaking because I didn't know the rules and commands. And now to. If I invite friends to hang out in GamerX they never read the chat. They only read it if I ask them to read the chat etc. A textdraw is announced in big letters in the screen. Why people never join minigames like /mg1 if I ask them in the chat to join. And if it is announced players come. As important part new players. I'm sure the textdraw will help players. Because they read it.

Another thing. Some new players don't know how to talk. So they can't type commands ofcourse to. Let's make a textdraw or line that will say: Press button 'T' to talk and typing commands etc.

Some of it are already below the text draw at the bottom of the screen, in blue background though I agree that we do need to add or update a bit more of those commands. IMO, adding more text draws like those would really look messy and unprofessional, consider the incoming admin announces, PM on screen texts, event text draw, race text draw, hidden pickup text draws, IRC announcement text draws, etc. Imagine getting some of them at the same time. The "Press button 'T' to talk and typing commands etc." idea could be really helpful though, since we don't get a list of commands when installing SA:MP.

Btw, I think that a textline or textdraw like 'Press the "T" button on your keyboard' to talk or use commands. Be one of the most important part to for new players. And maybe we should make some more objects that will be show more info. Like what I said. I know we have already one in every spawnzone but I think more help pickups should make a different to.

Instead of a text that appears for only a few seconds it could be a box that can be closed by pressing "Cancel" button that will be in the bottom, like /tr2.
It should be added in races too, how CasHewZ said.This will help Newbies a lot.

what makes you think that they know those commands exist?

Yes Pallo they can ask. But there are times that every regurarly player is AFK and new players ask something and no onr gives an answer.
I still think that auto messages will help players a lot. They don't need to ask if the text popsup automatically. New players will think ' Oh this server is great '. Because they know what to do etc.

Don't understand me wrong. But if we add this (if this suggestion will accepted) we still need a lot of more auto messages like that. But this will be a begin. I think it help.

If i didnt misunderstand this A textdraw of that much ^^^ big will cover full screen and that player will not be able to see anything maybe this annoy him/her.

Ive noticed that new players don't participate in server events like : Event Minigames Race hp and they had more than 15 mins, ivs seen many new players for 20-30 mins by /sp they just roam and kill dont join events/races so still they didnt gone at any event so if these players go in race for the first time they will not be able to see that info because of more time.

I got an idea if any player enter any car text line comes at down of the screen which shows : if you want any kind of help for your car type /thatcmd, & at the end of that text line a cmd must be there for enable/disable that text line (only that text line disable/enable cmd should be alvailable for all and cant be disable like others are) and if anyone wants to enable/disable there will be written at the end of the line how to enable/disable, so old players who got these info already they can disable text line and for new players it will come when they get into car so that if they got any problem with their car like fixing or flipping they can view and after viewing if they remembered those cmds they can disable the text line too,by this no old player can be annoy by that line because the line can be disable and that line can help new players,by this new players can get info for their car and then in races they can type /fix or /f without any problem.
(If its possible)

/thatcmd = a cmd which shows a dialog box in that there will be all info for car like /af /f /fix etc.

This might be useful for the new players the very first 5 or 6 times they jump in to a car, but after that, it seems to be quite annoying.
