To register your nickname on the IRC.TL network, after connected to irc.tl server, do the following:

/msg NickServ REGISTER <PASSWORD> <EMAIL>

If you have followed the steps correctly, try to check if you are registered by typing:

/msg NickServ INFO

If it's not registered it will say:

NickServ [NickServ@services.irc.tl]: StormBone is not registered.

But if registered it will show the information of your account data (nicknames, registered date, address).. Example:
