  • Lexus | Hoverboard - coming for 2016

    After 145 days or more.
Lexus has finally shown off its real, live, working hoverboard. It may not be Back to the Future, but it’s still a mighty satisfying ride.

    .....etc

    Watch the story:

How it works? watch a video about riding Lexus Hoverboard.

This amazing Hoverboard took 394 days to be finished.

    Thanks for reading / watching

The problem is that it needs to be constantly refilled with liquid nitrogen in order to stay in a super conductive state. Also you can only ride it on top of a magnetic track. In otherwords, it wont work on normal ground.. Unless they place magnets under every street

Not that i dont think a hover board would be awesome though

They've placed magnets under and some metallic surfaces on the concrete. As Mousytom stated, this doesn't work on land. If I'm not mistaken, this has been made before (some prototypes) so it isn't anything new, but it's still cool.
