I have started this thread in response to the many people who I've seen ask for friends to the admins or to anyone in general. In this week, I've seen 4 individuals alone, 1 who even decided to pm me, forcing to be his friend. In SAMP servers it's pretty hard to make friends I admit- This is due to the superiority complex. Many people don't like being friends with a common player because they are what our fellow gamerx "experienced" players call 'noobs', 'nubs', etc. Here are a few steps for those poor young gentleman who are stuck in gamerx with no allies.
1) Get yourself a good name - no one wants to be friends with a gxtempname player or a really dopey name like "HaCk334N0oB", be simple - shoutout to my boys obese and beer (even names like that'll cut it).
2) Learn and have a good enough knowledge of the server - If you don't know much about the server, everyones going to start calling you a noob, newb, nub, nublet, I'll stop. Read /rules, follow them. /tour to see different features available ingame.
3) Once you've done the above 2, the hard part arrives - Stepping up your stats . This is important lads, like I was saying, superiority complex exists in gamerx, in samp, in all online games possible. Get kills, buy property, join events, race etc. Once you've reached the 500 kill zone, you're not really classed as a nub, noob, nublet, newb, newbie, I'll stop again.
4) Start socialising in the global chat from then on, get involved in conversations. Then you'll come off as a chilled dude. (DON'T BE A CREEP THOUGH). Be funny but make sure your jokes aren't lame or dead.
5) Be mysterious - Talk all you want but at the same time ingame be mysterious, drive around and talk. Shout out to my dudes persil and burnedgrass- homies be chatting away in that global chat but in the actual freeroam world they be hard to find. This will make the person you're talking to feel the need to know you and hang out with you.
What NOT to do?
1) PM someone telling them to be your friend or just telling them to do something with you (save this after you made a solid friendship)
2) Don't make it obvious in your conversation in the global chat that you're in need of friends. Just discuss what's being discussed
3) If your aiming to be a TP go ahead but bruh, saying /report id reason to an experienced person just pisses them off. (I did this). Only say that to newbies with weak stats and those that have very poor knowledge about the server.
..and that pretty much sums it up lads- Now stop asking admins or just anyone for friends. If you see anyone, send them this threads way. Do comment any edits you'd like to see be done.
Goodbye
