Updates

I have been working on the Discoloured database and scripts lately, and the following changes have been made...

• Added error checks for missing 'Duels won' in the Gamerx stat page. An unexpected error was occuring because Izayoi has no 'duels won' field in Stats page. This is handled better now.
• Added 'chat exclusion' so, if someone wants to be included in the Discoloured database, but not have their chat logged, then they can be added to the exclusion list. Only admins can request to be excluded.
• DiscolouredFrogBot (forum bot) currently under-going maintenance and should be up and running again in a few days - until then, heatmaps will not be updated!
• I have been working on an exciting new feature... 'heatmaps'. Discussed more below
• Eliteus has helped me by making a more exciting background for the Discoloured Custom GamerX signature bars. In a few days, the signature bars will be updated to include this new and exciting design. If you would also like to help me by designing more backgrounds, please get in touch via forum PM!

Heatmaps

What are these heatmaps? Well, they are visual representations of the Gamerx San Andreas map, showing how popular each area of the map is. If more players(ingame) are in a certain area of San Andreas (i.e. San Fierro), the percentage will be higher, and therefore the rectangle will be a stronger opacity.

This a new and exciting feature I've been working on recently. It isn't fully embedded within the website yet, but that will be done soon! Despite not being embedded within the website yet, the maps are fully implemented and work as expected. There are two types of heatmaps...

Player heatmaps:

These heatmaps are for individual players. A players heatmap is for a specific month and year. So since it's November 2016, and this feature was implemented in November 2016, there will only be one heatmap per player at the moment. To see a players heatmap, visit the following link, replacing USERNAME with a players username.

Since no 'date' url parameter was included, it will always display the latest heatmap available. To see a heatmap of the player from a different month/year, include the date parameter, like so (replace DATE)...

Server-wide heatmaps:

Similar to player heatmaps, with a few key differences. The server-wise heatmaps take positions from EVERY player ingame (whether they're in the Discoloured Database or not). The server-wide heatmaps are on a DAY basis, whereas player heatmaps are on a month basis. To view the servers heatmap for a particular day, visit the following link, but replacing DAY...

Both heatmap types require the DiscolouredFrogBot forum bot to be online and working in order to update. Sadly the bot is down for maintenance, so heatmaps will not be available until the bot is back up and running. The bot will be back up in a few days!

• Signature bars background has changed design, nice fresh look! (Background by Eliteus)

A little suggestion:
Add buttons to access the new features (Server-Wide Map and Player Map), also a button for getting a signature, asking for entering the player name and then generating the signature for him/her.

Thanks for the suggestions, they are good suggestions In time I will implement the new features into the website and add more buttons etc for assessing them, thanks for pointing this out. As for a button for a signature, that too is a splendid idea and once I have time, I will try and implement it within the Discoloured website. Thanks!

I really like the whole point of this but i never liked the whole chat history(it count for me as a SPY feature and it's useless tbh)! Why would a "player" want to look at chat history? To look at my attitude or how i talk to anyone?! Sometimes i use /cb to talk to (ex: PANZEHIR) i saw in chat history it count inside Chat History (/cb) chat too.!

The chat history is useless and no needed to a GamerX Tracker, that's is my opinion.

Well trust me, I and 27 squad chat much more shit than anyone here. It isn't something to be concerned about, if you want to talk privately use pms or /setpc or /setcookie or even TP chat. I doubt you speak about private stuff in /cb as you shouldn't - it echoes onto IRC. You should only really be concerned about it being in public if you are chatting shit about another player, TP or admin which you shouldn't do.

As a web-designer & web-programmer i always love to criticize this kind of projects niceley or strictly, i just didnt like the whole chat history cause it looks useless to a gamerx tracker. I managed from my college to criticize from the header to footer.

Nah, i never do this shit, i mostly use Personal Messages for this kind of situations.! Sometimes i do speak private stuffs but it depends on what quesstions(some of them are for trolls!)
