[Question] Lagg

Dear GamerX players,

I have this for a long time, and now I want to end it. I have for a long time big lagg. But my router is pretty good. My ping ingame in servers are 20 - 60. I think its a thing in my computer or something. I have windows 7. Do anyone to know how I can fix this? I want to play without lagg, because I can't play nice with it.

www.speedtest.net , 20-60 ping in-game means you're close to the server..
And.. maybe because you have a lot of mods..

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have no mods, I have nothing. I have a original GTA Sa disk. + Samp and thats it.And I am from The Netherlands

Strange I think the server is in England so u can't have problems with it. I guess the other players has highers ping so its not really your internet connection problem. I don't think a pc that runs w7 will have problem with san andreas. Do you have problems with other games, maybe your should reinstall you video drivers or san andreas and samp.

Anyways it must be because of:

1) Your Mods in GTA SA
2) Your Internet Speed
3) Frame Limiter is ON

If you have mods in GTA SA you should remove them all.
If your Internet speed is low so you should upgrade your Internet.
If your Frame Limiter is ON, you can turn it off in game from Options.

Go to menu in-game and click Options !
Go to display setup , advanced the put everything on Low and off . about the resolution you can put it 1024x768 or 800x600.
I had this problem too , this was the way i solved it . If this dosen`t work , you need to buy a new Video Card .

Everyone is repeating the samething over and over, now this happened to me before and it appeared to be my Windows Update that was making me lag and I also had a good gaming ping 120-150, in other words you need to disable your automatic windows updates by three simple steps:

1. Go into your control panel and search "Automatic" in the search bar

2. You'll see "Windows Update" and some other stuff, under Windows Update, you'll see two options "Turn Automatic updating on or off and 2. "Check for Updates"

3.Chose turn off automatic updates and a menu will pop up and you'll see a drop down arrow click that and chose the option "Never check for updates (Not Recommended)" ignore the not recommended part, it helps..

If the comments arent working for you , Try this if you are not in a mood to buy a graphic card or some harddisk etc...
And listen , if you love eyecandy then you wont be able to play gta smoothly unless you have a good pc and a good graphic card .

1.
open the samp.cfg file using Notepad. There will be a line saying fpslimit=<some number>, change it to fpslimit=90 and save the file.

2.
Connect to Gamerx server on SAMP. Press Esc while in-game. Go to Options > Display Settings > Advanced.

3.
There, turn Draw Distance to minimum. Turn off Frame Limiter. Set FX Quality to Low. Set Anti-aliasing to No. Set Mip-mapping to No. Reduce Screen Resolution to 800x600x16 (or 640x480x16 if your PC is too slow)

4.
Download GTA Shrinker from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qr...hrinkerWin.zip
Extract the file anywhere
Open GTA_Shrinker.exe
Enter your correct GTA San Andreas main directory in first box
Click Shrink button to start shrinking of your gta3.img file
Wait till it is finished

5.
Download this max FPS timecyc and modded gta_sa.exe required to run it: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/06ed773f37/
Extract the files
Copy-paste the downloaded gta_sa.exe to \Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\ main folder. Overwrite when asked.
Copy-paste the downloaded timecyc.aaa file to \Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\ folder


Ta Da! You can get the max FPS your computer can attain!!!!!!!

It does't really work for me, maybe because I can't turn off the mip-mapping, it isn't clickable.. Or maybe is my PC to old for playing SA:MP or running windows 7. I don't know !
