in Steal The Project event, There shouldn't be vehicles for defenders. Because they're defenders, they should protect the project from attackers, and vehicles are useless in this case.

Vehicles can block roads?
No, Vehicles are so easy to be pushed away from the way.

Vehicles can be used as a cover?
No, it will explode as soon as possible.

The defenders are just using the vehicles to attack the attackers, just to ruin the fun of the event, so i see the vehicles should be removed

I am not really aware of any vehicles that are for defenders or at least i don't remember that there are actually ones for defenders.
as far as i know, there are only vehicles for attackers to ambush the defenders, but if we actually took your suggestion to consideration and think of it, we will come to the point that we have to think on both sides, what if the whole attackers team just staying in their base and not ambushing the defenders for whatever reason? the defenders should go on foot to actually win the event as their job is to kill all the attackers, when they already come on foot their stamina will be empty and the attackers will screw them ( happened lots of times, it also causes distraction to the defenders as they will take care of the attackers while any attacker will go to the base as it's empty due to the defenders ambushing the attackers ).

even if there were vehicles for defenders, it's good as defenders can also use vehicles for multiple purposes such as ambush the attackers to kill them to win the event.

Defenders not only got one job, they got multiple jobs in order to win the event, we have to think that attackers team shouldn't get more advantages then the defenders team, that way everybody will wish if they were attackers, and if they spwanned as defenders they will just /k aware of the fact that the attackers team got way more advantages then the defenders and in my opinion nothing should be added to the attackers as it will make the attackers way better then the defenders.

Not to mention also that all the attackers should do is to steal the project and BOOM! they won the event, they just stand there for some seconds then get the project and gtfo from the defenders' base which causes even more heat on the defenders then the attackers ( as the defenders should watch on every thing on the area to detect any attackers which broke trough in the base )

everything should be treated equally, i don't support this idea.

Im disagree with this idea.
Defenders need to vehicles as much as attackers need it. They can block project with vehicles I think you haven't tried all STP maps.
Actually vehicles using to be a shield for defenders they can hide in cars to stay alive from snipers.
Also you can report car ramming or drive-by if you see /he and /er its not allowed to annoy each others with cars.
There is newbie players they don't know what to do in events and they just chill in map, Defenders need vehicles to hunt this guys.

lol i know it's like that, but as i know and i played many STP events and when an attacker steals the project, there's no chance for the defenders to take it back. as they'll be in the checkpoint as soon as possible, i mean faster than the defenders to take it back.. but really the defenders are always attacking the attackers,at least you must disable the attacker's spawn icon in the radar for the defenders, until the project becomes stolen, then the spawn can be displayed for them

I played two of these events, one was in sky and one was in land and the land had vehicles, so where should the defenders vehicles would be?

Ever thought about defenders? They will be of no use if they got no vehicles and I think this suggestion is not useful

Vehicles on Steal The Project that was placed on defenders is the specific map options, not a default for every events. So the map creator decide if they want to have vehicles or not.
